An Ohio native, Ashton graduated from the University of Akron with a BA in Political Science. Prior to joining CCA, she spent over eight years in political fundraising and seven years in campaign compliance, majorly focused in federal campaigns.

Ashton has previously served as the Treasurer for the Ohio Young Democrats, Deputy Treasurer for the Young Democrats of America, as well a number of US Congressional races, leadership committees, and PACS.

In her free time, Ashton enjoys playing on Xbox, taking her dog Chip on adventures, or drinking numerous iced lattes.
