Mario joined CCA in 2023. Graduating from Gordon College in May 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in political science, Mario Aguirre moved from Santa Barbara, California to Washington, DC in July 2023 where he worked as an Archivist Intern at the Center for Public Justice and a Fellow of the NewDEAL. However, during his undergraduate experience, he was involved in campus leadership roles including President of the Democrats Club, Film Events Coordinator for the Campus Events Council, and served as a Peer Mentor for first-year writing seminars. In his free time, Mario enjoys watching films, exercising, and re-playing Dark Souls for the umpteenth time.
