Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Sam graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a MA in History in 2025. He has campaigned for progressive causes locally in D.C., abroad in the U.K., and worked as a journalist during the 2024 U.S. election cycle. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Sam going on runs in Rock Creek Park, reading science fiction, and going down various Wikipedia rabbit holes.
